About Marina Mandziuk

I started my career as a Behaviour Interventionist working with children on the autism spectrum. Since this time, I have worked in various roles, including Behaviour Consultant, Occupational Therapy Assistant, Mental Health Clinician and most recently Counsellor. Despite working in various roles, I have consistently focused on supporting children, youth and young adults. I decided to start Rise and Roam Counselling as I wanted to support individuals in finding services that are personable, flexible, client-centred and neurodiversity-affirming. I have a particular interest in supporting individuals with Attention Deficit-Hyperactivity Disorder, Anxiety, Autism and Depression. I love helping individuals gain greater self-awareness, self-confidence and coping/regulation skills.

Outside of work, I love being in nature, and you can frequently find me hiking all around Vancouver Island. Some of my other favourite activities include paddleboarding, camping, kayaking, travelling, reading and playing various board games. I also have a particular love for animals and have two furry friends of my own.
